At a time when number of start-ups continue to grow in the country, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) is set to launch fourth edition of its knowledge summit based on the theme of incubation.
ConneXion 2013, the knowledge summit for post graduate programme in management for executives (PGPX) will be held by IIM-A from October 24 to October 26, 2013 on the theme of 'India InCubate: Idea to Action'.
"The focus is on new ideas, businesses, skills and action plans for growth in the changing global economic environment. Though the current economic flux poses a challenge to businesses worldwide, it is also an opportunity for Indian enterprises to carve a global position for themselves. This requires the support of focused policy initiatives, business processes of international standard and a global mindset," the organising committee at IIM-A commented.

While the event will feature KC Chakrabarty, deputy governor, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as the keynote speaker, the panels will feature various activities such as presentations and speaker discussions, among others. The panel will culminate with Q&A from the audience. Moreover, a PGPX alumni-meet, will be hosted on campus alongside ConneXion.
Meanwhile, a panel discussion between CEOs and industries leaders, an elected member of legislature and PGPX alumni will also be moderated by an IIM-A faculty.
