IIMA launches Hindi website

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) on Monday launched the institute’s website in Hindi, as a part of the ongoing celebration of the Hindi Fortnight held from September 14 to 29 every year at the campus. The Hindi fortnight is observed every year by the institute for the implementation of the official language policy of the Government of India.

While BH Jajoo, the Dean of IIMA unveiled the Hindi website at the IIMA campus, Anand Kumar Jaiswal, the chairperson of Official Language Implementation Committee, present on the occasion also informed that IIMA has become the first management Institute in India, to officially launch its website in the Hindi language. It is expected that with the launch of the Hindi website more people would have access to the information on IIMA’s programmes and activities.

 

The other events organised by the institute as part of the Hindi fortnight include book exhibition, essay writing, poem recitation, vocabulary and debate competition in Hindi.
