The Asian markets opened on a mixed note this morning.
The Shanghai Composite was down 1% at 2,829, and the Nikkei 225 also opened 0.65% down at 10,102.
Other indices trading in the red were the NZSE 50 trading flat at3,293, while the Straits Times opened 8 points down at 3,173, and the Taiwan Weighted was down 16 points at 8,686.
Indices trading positively were the Hang Seng up 31 points at 23,269, the Jakarta Composite up 26 points at 3,722 and the Seoul Composite up 7 points at 1,960.
Apart from the Shanghai Composite, which opened nearly 1% down, all other indices were trading mostly flat, with marginal changes in their absolute values.
