Base metals recover on global cues

Most of the base metals recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on fresh buying by stockists on the back of rising trend in London Metal Exchange.
Nickel prices rose by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,175 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 1,165 and Copper armature advanced by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 395 from Rs 391 in the previous session.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar, and copper sheet cutting all moved up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 413, Rs 405, Rs 441 and Rs 389, respectively.
Brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 271.
Copper utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting both inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 373 and Rs 279, respectively.
