Consolidated up on Rs 306-cr orders

Shares of Consolidated Construction Consortium increased 3.33 per cent to close the day at Rs 142.6 on receiving orders worth Rs 306 crore. The orders relate to construction of concrete bridge across the Adyar river for aircraft movement in Chennai Airport and construction of a township for Vedanta at Jharsuguda, Orissa.
The stock opened at Rs 135 and made an intraday high/low of Rs 149/Rs 135 with trading volumes of 34,254 shares. The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 684.95 (May 30, 2008) and a low of Rs 105 (April 09, 2009). The stock gained 33 per cent in the last one month.
