Gur rules steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed in the wholesale jaggery market today, as gur prices moved in a narrow range on restricted buying activity against adequate stocks.  

Market analysts said adequate stocks position, against restricted buying activity kept the wholesale gur prices steady. 

Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal.

Chakku 2,250-2,300, pedi 2,250-2,300, Dhayya 2,300-2,350 and Shakkar 2,450-2,500
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 1,750-1,850, chakku 2,050-2,250 and Khurpa 2,000-2,050
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,000-2,050 and Dhaya 2,050-2,100
