Lead remains weak on sluggish demand
The January contract traded lower by 30 paise, or 0.24% to Rs 126.80 per kg

Lead remained weak for the second day and prices traded lower by 0.28% to Rs 126.60 per kg in futures trade today as speculators offloaded positions on subdued demand in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, December lead declined by 35 paise, or 0.28% to Rs 126.60 per kg in business turnover of 3962 lots.
The January contract traded lower by 30 paise, or 0.24% to Rs 126.80 per kg in 622 lots.
Market analysts said subdued from battery-makers in the spot market and reports of a weak global trend mainly kept pressure on lead futures.
