Masoor, its dal slip on sluggish demand

In an otherwise steady the wholesale pulses market today, masoor and its declined on sluggish demand against adequate stocks.

Elsewhere, other commodities traded in a tight range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said increased arrivals from producing regions against subdued demand at prevailing levels mainly led to a decline in masoor and its dal prices.

Masoor small and bold prices lost Rs 50 each to Rs 3,200-3,400 and Rs 3,400-3,650, while its dal local and best quality declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,800-3,900 and Rs 4,100-4,400 per quintal.
