Mastek surges on rise in Q2 net profits

Mastek zoomed 3 per cent to Rs 341.90 on reporting 10.44 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 18.72 crore in Q2 December 2007 over Q1 September 2007.

The company's total income rose by 0.12 per cent to Rs 140.34 crore during the same period. The mid-cap scrip outperformed the market over the past one month till 7 January 2008, gaining 15.43 per cent compared with the Sensex's returns of 4.24 per cent.
