Oil worry drags US indices

US indices dipped sharply for the second straight session as crude oil prices continued its upward march on Friday.While the Dow Jones tanked 124 points to 10,298, the Nasdaq lost 17 points to close at 2,053.

Indian ADRs, too, fell in line and finished weak yesterday. Infosys, Satyam and Wipro edged lower at $72.95, $25.65 and $20.75, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Dr. Reddy's, VSNL and MTNL, too, ended a tad weaker at $21.85, $16.72, $10.58 and $6.48, respectively. HDFC Bank and Tata Motors, however, gained marginally to close at $44.86 and $9.66, respectively.
