Zinc prices recently has been moving upwards gradually on the London Metal Exchange. In contrast, zinc processors have been reducing their charges which are now close to a 30-year low.
On the London Metal Exchange (LME), last week, spot price of zinc movied to a 10 weeek high crossing $ 780 a tonne to close the week at $ 782 from $750.50. It hovered just around 200-dsday moving average of $ 793 yesterday.
Last Thursday, a high bid of $801.50 per tonne was made as fund and speculative players fuelled the price run on possibility of cut backs at Glencore
