Refined soya oil futures slip on profit-booking

Refined soya oil weakened by Rs 3.40 to Rs 485.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today, as speculators indulged in profit-booking due to fall in demand at spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, refined soya oil for October fell by Rs 3.40, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 485.30 per 10 kg in single lot.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November weakened by Rs 2.75, or 0.55 per cent, to Rs 492.85 per 10 kg in just one lot. 

Market analysts said profit-booking by speculators and fall in demand at spot markets kept pressure on the refined soya oil prices at futures trade here.
