SBI GDR up 3%

ADR/GDR REPORT

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 1.92 per cent to 1,481.44 in Wednesday's morning trade. Among ISDI GDR stocks five gained, one lost ground and one remained unchanged.

The major gainers were State Bank Of India up 2.99 per cent to $50.67, Bajaj Auto up 2.47 per cent to $37.40 and Reliance up 2.35 per cent to $35.95. The only loser was Hindalco down 0.59 per cent to $3.35.

In the previous day's close, among ISDI ADR six stocks gained, one lost ground and one remained unchanged.

The major gainers were ICICI Bank up 5.50 per cent to $27.04, Wipro up 1.61 per cent to $10.10. and HDFC Bank up 0.55 per cent to $50.74. The only loser was VSNL down 0.89 per cent to $16.65.
