Select base metals marginally up on good demand

Select base metals edged up at the non-ferrous metal market here today on scattered industrial buying despite a bearish trend in global markets.
Meanwhile, nickel declined on lower demand from consumer industries. Tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 950 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 945.
Lead, zinc and copper armiture inched up by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 105, Rs 108 and Rs 354, respectively. However, nickel declined by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,090 from Rs 1,100 previously.
