Sensex down 117pts; BHEL, Bajaj shine

The Sensex is now down 117 points at 19,130.

Bharti Airtel has plunged 3.4% to Rs 916. ICICI Bank has tumbled 2.3% to Rs 1,131, and Maruti has shed 2% to Rs 933.

Reliance Energy and NTPC have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 1,760 and Rs 235, respectively.

ACC and Reliance have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 1,114 and Rs 2,848, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Hindalco and ONGC are down 1% each at Rs 394, Rs 192 and Rs 1,173, respectively.

BHEL and Bajaj Auto have surged 2.5% each to Rs 2,672 and Rs 2,650, respectively.

SBI has dropped 1.7% to Rs 2,280, and TCS has shed 1.2% at Rs 997.

Wipro and Tata Motors are up 1% each at Rs 457 and Rs 717, respectively.

Out of 2,807 stocks traded so far, 1,529 have declined, 1,201 have advanced and 77 are unchanged.
