Sensex down 28pts; Ranbaxy, DLF move up

The NSE Nifty is down 17 points at 5,065.

Bharti Airtel has surged 2.6% to Rs 849. Ranbaxy has moved up nearly 2% to Rs 479, and DLF has added 1.3% to Rs 652.

Larsen & Toubro is up 1% at Rs 2,914.

ACC has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 729. HDFC Bank has shed 1.6% at Rs 1,484.

Jaiprakash Associates, Ambuja Cements and HDFC have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 266, Rs 110 and Rs 2,687, respectively.

Hindalco and BHEL have declined over 1% each to Rs 178 and Rs 1,742, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and Tata Steel are also down 1% each at Rs 248 and Rs 838, respectively.
