Sensex down 33pts; ACC, Hindalco slip 2%

The NSE Nifty is down 20 points at 5,062.

Bharti Airtel has surged 2.3% to Rs 847. Ranbaxy has moved up 1.3% to Rs 476.

ITC is up over 1% at Rs 217.

ACC, Hindalco and HDFC Bank have shed 1.7% each at Rs 730, Rs 177 and Rs 1,483, respectively.

HDFC, Tata Steel and Jaiprakash Associates have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 2,680, Rs 834 and Rs 265, respectively.

Ambuja Cements, BHEL and Maruti have declined over 1% each to Rs 110, Rs 1,740 and Rs 762, respectively.
