Sensex rallies 94 points

The Sensex corssed the 9400-mark and touched a high of 9419. Presently the index is up 94 points at 9417. The Nifty has surged 21 points to 2843.

Dr.Reddy's is up 2.8% at Rs 977, Grasim has gained 2.6% at Rs 1,391 and Hindalco is up 2.4% at Rs 143.

Tata Steel, ITC, HLL, SBI, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Energy, NTPC, Maruti, ICICI Bank and ACC are up 1-2% each.
