Sensex up 11pts; Tata Motors up 2%

The Sensex is now up 11 points at 10,763.

BHEL and NTPC have gained around 3% each at Rs 2,172 and Rs 119, respectively.

Tata Motors has advanced 2% to Rs 747. Dr.Reddy's, Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco are up 1% each at Rs 1,407, Rs 2,276 and Rs 159, respectively.

Wipro and HLL have slipped 1% each to Rs 490 and Rs 226, respectively.

Out of 2,226 stocks traded so far, 1,190 have advanced, 964 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
