Sensex up 13pts; Satyam, Tata Steel firm

The Sensex is now up 13 points at 13,647.

Satyam has surged 3.5% to Rs 464. Tata Steel has added 3.3% to Rs 474.

ITC and Gujarat Ambuja have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 170 and Rs 126, respectively.

ACC and Grasim have advanced 1.8% each to Rs 932 and Rs 2,312, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, Reliance Energy, Hindalco and HLL are up 1% each at Rs 690, Rs 509, Rs 145 and Rs 189, respectively.

Reliance Communications has shed 2.5% to Rs 422. Reliance, HDFC and Ranbaxy have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 1,393, Rs 1,583 and Rs 352, respectively.

Out of 2,434 stocks traded so far, 1,309 have advanced, 1,072 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
