Sensex up 70pts; breadth marginally +ve

The Sensex is now up 70 points at 14,161.

Tata Motors has gained 1.8% at Rs 894. Reliance Energy, Wipro and Bharti Airtel have moved up over 1.5% each to Rs 522, Rs 623 and Rs 718, respectively.

ITC and Reliance Communications have advanced around 1.3% each to Rs 176 and Rs 467, respectively.

SBI, ONGC and ICICI Bank are up over 1% each to Rs 1,152, Rs 914 and Rs 950, respectively.

Tata Steel has shed 1.4% to Rs 458. HLL is down 1% at Rs 206.

Out of 2,464 stocks traded so far, 1,242 have advanced, 1,156 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
