Sensex up 87pts; Grasim, ONGC perk up

The Sensex is now up 87 points at 11,010.

HDFC has rallied 2.4% to Rs 1,256. Bajaj Auto, Grasim and ONGC have gained around 2% each at Rs 2,623, Rs 2,157 and Rs 1,207, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Tata Steel and Reliance Energy have surged 1.7% each to Rs 399, Rs 518 and Rs 462, respectively.

BHEL, Bharti Airtel and TCS have added 1.5% each to Rs 2,151, Rs 405 and Rs 957, respectively.

SBI is down over 1% at Rs 820.

Out of 2,318 stocks traded so far, 1,224 have advanced, 1,010 have declined and 84 are unchanged.
