Soyabean futures fell on selling pressure

Soyabean futures prices declined by Rs 38 to Rs 2,642.50 per quintal in future trading today on selling by traders, in tandem with weak global markets cue.
Market analysts said weak trends in the overseas markets, led to a fall in soyabean prices here in future market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, soyabean price for delivery in June slipped by Rs 38, or 1.42 per cent, to Rs 2,642.50 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,910 lots.
Most active March-month delivery contract eased by Rs 18, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 2,549.50 per quintal, with an open interest of 2,30,990 lots.
February-month delivery contract went down by Rs 14, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 2,506.50 per quintal, revealing an open interest of 1,86,390 lots.
