Sugar remains quiet on some support

Sugar ruled flat for the second straight day today as prices by and large moved in a narrow range on alternate small bouts of trading and settled at last levels.

Market analysts said price movements remained thin as demand and supply matched with each other.   

The following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 3,000-3,125 and S-30 2,975-3,000
Mill delivery M-30 2,800-2,950 and S-30 2,785-2,925
