US indices end mixed

US indices, after posting strong gains in the last four consecutive trading sessions, finished on a mixed note yesterday. While the Dow Jones lost 21 points to 10,472, the Nasdaq ended with a mere four points gain at 2,046.

Indian ADRs were largely weak on Friday. While Infosys and Satyam ended marginally higher at $66.35 and $23.80, respectively, Wipro finished a tad lower at $19.46.

VSNL dropped 2.69% to $9.42, while MTNL shed nearly 3% to $6.30. HDFC Bank and Dr. Reddy's, too, ended weak at $42.81 and $15.85, respectively. ICICI Bank and Tata Motors, however, closed with steady gains at $19.92 and $9.93, respectively.
