US mkts end higher; ICICI Bank, VSNL rally

US indices shrugged off the yesterday's oil price rise and the Tuesday's Fed meeting, with the Dow Jones advancing 59 points to 10,252 while the Nasdaq finishing seven points higher at 1,929.

Indian ADRs were largely mixed on Monday. While Satyam and Wipro were marginally up at $21.70 and $18.49, respectively, Infosys dipped 1.32% to $58.42.

ICICI Bank rose 4% to $18.81, while VSNL shot up 3.74% to $9.70. Tata Motors also ended in the green with marginal gains at $9.50. HDFC Bank and MTNL, however, ended a tad lower each at $43.28 and $6.15, respectively.
