Arnold Schwarzenegger had his former wife Maria Shriver's face removed from his official government portrait.
Originally the 67-year-old former Governor of California's oil painting, which was done by renowned Austrian artist Gott-fried Helnwein in 2003, showed him wearing a small lapel pin with former First Lady of California's face on it, New York Post reported.
Capitol tour guide Richard Granis said that whoever touched Shriver's picture up did not do a very good job as it looked like "softball sized" ugly smudge of blue paint on his left lapel.
Another Capitol staffer pointed out that because the "splotch", which lacked the matting of the rest of the portrait, made it especially noticeable.
