Aubrey Plaza has joined the cast of Lionsgate 'Dirty Grandpa,' and is set to star with Zac Efron and Robert De Niro in the road trip comedy.
The film, which would be helmed by Dan Mazer from a screenplay by John Phillips, centers on a twenty-something (Efron) who goes on a road trip before his wedding to bond with his recently widowed grandfather (De Niro), who turns out to be a foul-mouthed lunatic looking to get laid, Deadline.com reported.
The film, which would be produced by Bill Block, Jason Barrett, Barry Josephson and Michael Simkin, also stars Zoey Deutch and Dermot Mulroney, and has been set for an August 2016 release.
