Former England player Ian Botham has said that there is no hiding place in an Ashes series Down Under and England must be brave and go toe-to-toe with Australia if they are to retain Ashes.
According to the Mirror, Botham said that there are some things that never change about coming to this country and I think the current crop have been given a brutal reminder of what it takes to be successful.
Courage and bravery are two traits that are a must here, as well as fight, skill, patience and aggression, he added.
He further said that what England produced so far was just not good enough, adding that it was ordinary, verging on the embarrassing and it should act as a huge wake-up call.
