Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt has reportedly said that Formula One star Michael Schumacher will be able to live a relatively normal life again within a short period of time.
He admitted that he will never be able to drive a Formula One car again but added that his condition has improved and that he is "fighting," reported News.com.au.
Todt now serves as president of motorsport's governing body FIA and is a friend of the Schumacher family.
Schumacher suffered severe head injuries during a ski accident on December 29 last year when he smashed his head on rocks in the French Alps at Meribel. He has recovered sufficiently from his coma to be moved to the Lausanne rehabiliation clinic in June where he remains immobile and mute.
