The three-year old girl, who was rescued from the Ejipura building collapse site earlier this week, passed away on Thursday due to multiple organ failure.

On Monday, seven people were killed after a two-storeyed residential building collapsed due to a cylinder blast in Bengaluru's Ejipura district.

The deceased, identified as Sanjana, was rescued by members of the fire brigade and the National Disaster Response Force.

She was undergoing medical treatment at Victoria Hospital here and had lost her parents in the same tragedy, following which the Karnataka government had decided to adopt her.
