Michael Hutchence was planning to leave his lover, Paula Yates, before he supposedly committed suicide nearly 17 years ago, according to INXS band member Kirk Pengilly.
Pengilly told Channel 7's Sunday Night that prior to his death, Hutchence had told him that he wanted to split up with the mother of his daughter, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Pengilly added that he kept it a secret for 16 years because it was a long time ago and he did not like to dwell on it.
