Mukherjee to inaugurate 50th anniversary of India's first climb of Mt. Everest tomorrow

President Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the 50th anniversary of India's first historic climb of Mt. Everest in 1965 tomorrow.

The President will open the event at a function in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The Indian Mountaineering Foundation is organizing this event to celebrate the historic climb of Mt. Everest in 1965 by an Indian team led by Captain M.S. Kohli.
