Tennis ace Andy Murray has said he is hopeful of playing at Wimbledon following his planned recovery from a chronic back injury that has forced him to skip this year's French Open.

The World no. 2 has been struggling with his injury during the clay-court season, The Mirror reports.

Murray has admitted that there is a 'long way to go' before he is 100 percent fit.

Murray said that the grass is a bit easier on his back than clay and he is positive that Wimbledon is going to be fine.

Murray further added that he will prepare himself to play for the warm-up event at Queen's, but cannot make any concrete plans as yet.
