Nagrik Jagrukta Manch, a voluntary organisation of Siliguri, recently organised a 'walk for health and awareness rally'.
Several people participated in the rally with a motto to stay fit by walking daily.
"Nowadays, we use vehicles for even short distance and forget walking. That is why we are promoting walking which can give you good health on the first day of this year. It will also reduce the pollution," said Bikram Gupta, Secretary of the Nagrik Jagrukta Manch.
