Naidu to review progress of new urban schemes in Madhya Pradesh

The meeting is slated to discuss two major central government flagship projects- AMRUT and smart city mission- in the state

Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu will chair a workshop in Bhopal on Monday where he will review the progress of different schemes that are being implemented in Madhya Pradesh.

The meeting is slated to discuss the central government's flagship Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation mission and its smart city project in the state.

The status of  metro projects in Bhopal and Indore will also be discussed in the workshop and presentations will be given.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state's urban administration minister, Maya Singh, will be attending the workshop along with other senior officials from the municipal corporations at Bhopal.

The review workshop is expected to boost to the implementation of these schemes in the state.
