Punjab: One dead, 10 injured in clash over land dispute in Sangrur

One person died while more than 10 people were injured in a clash that erupted between two groups in Sangrur's Shahpur Kalan over an ongoing land dispute on Sunday.

During the violence, arms and weapons were also used.

The injured people were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital in Sunam.

Presently, the situation of the village is tense and police have been deployed in the area to control the situation.

Police have begun investigation into the matter.
