Seven suspected Australian militants stopped from leaving country

Seven young Australians have been stopped from leaving the country by the authorities over fears that they planned to join "terror" groups in the Middle East.
According to the BBC, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott said that it seemed that the seven Australians planned to fight with terror groups.
They were allegedly carrying large amounts of cash.
They were stopped from leaving the country at Sydney International airport earlier this month.
It is a crime in Australia to fight for or assist militants on either side of the conflicts in the Middle East.
