Professor Sir David Eastwood Vice-Chancellor of the University of Birmingham and Dr H Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of MAHE signed MoU at a special signing ceremony in New Delhi on February 19, 2021, to enable Manipal engineering students to join Birmingham courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering creating opportunity for international transfer of credits and offer integrated master's programme following three years of study in India, graduating with degrees from both universities.
"The University of Birmingham's collaborative research output with India partners has almost doubled over the last five years. We currently have over 40 joint research projects of outstanding quality," commented Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir David Eastwood.
