Indian won the toss and opted to bat first against six-time champions Australia in the second semi-final clash of the ICC Women's World Cup here at the County Ground on Thursday.

The match is reduced to 42-over a side after rain curtailed the start of the play for more than three hours.

The Mithali Raj-led side are going with the same squad that clinched a huge 186-run victory over New Zealand in their last group stage encounter.
