Woody Allen's lawyer defends director from son's twitter remarks

Woody Allen's attorney has defended the director after his former partner Mia Farrow and their son Ronan posted a mocking message on Twitter as he was honoured at the Golden Globes ceremony.

The 78-year -old director, was honoured by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association with a lifetime achievement Golden Globes award, Contactmusic reported.

Farrow posted a tweet suggesting she would no longer be watching, and his estranged son used social media to reignite allegations that the filmmaker sexually abused his own daughter when she was seven.
