Capital Goods shares fall

Capital Goods stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index falling 80.26 points or 0.45% at 17752.04 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Thermax Ltd (down 1.99%), Siemens Ltd (down 1.88%),Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (down 1.74%),Carborundum Universal Ltd (down 1.4%),HEG Ltd (down 0.87%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were ABB India Ltd (down 0.85%), Bharat Electronics Ltd (down 0.63%), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 0.55%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd (down 0.53%), and Honeywell Automation India Ltd (down 0.37%).

On the other hand, Schaeffler India Ltd (up 3.69%), NBCC (India) Ltd (up 2.01%), and Finolex Cables Ltd (up 0.93%) moved up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 90.07 or 0.22% at 40266.62.

The Nifty 50 index was down 13.35 points or 0.11% at 11882.1.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 24.7 points or 0.19% at 13351.1.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 20.99 points or 0.45% at 4670.18.

On BSE,1089 shares were trading in green, 1308 were trading in red and 183 were unchanged.
