Net outflow of Rs 1576.81 crore on 22 May 2018
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 1576.81 crore into the secondary equity markets on 22 May 2018, higher than net outflow of Rs 439.52 crore on 21 May 2018.
The net outflow of Rs 1576.81 crore into the secondary equity markets on 22 May 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3161.72 crore and gross sales of Rs 4738.53 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 149.24 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 22 May 2018.
FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 12501.74 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 22 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 13990.54 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 22 May 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
