Healthcare stocks slide

Healthcare stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Healthcare index decreasing 26.39 points or 0.2% at 13428.32 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Healthcare index, Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd (down 6.91%), Opto Circuits (India) Ltd (down 2.72%),Metropolis Healthcare Ltd (down 2.34%),Shalby Ltd (down 2.3%),Marksans Pharma Ltd (down 2.05%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals Ltd (down 1.85%), Unichem Laboratories Ltd (down 1.67%), Divis Laboratories Ltd (down 1.64%), Kilitch Drugs (India) Ltd (down 1.6%), and Fermenta Biotech Ltd (down 1.45%).

On the other hand, Neuland Laboratories Ltd (up 11.49%), Laurus Labs Ltd (up 3.97%), and Nectar Lifescience Ltd (up 2.23%) turned up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 24.5 or 0.06% at 41698.42.

The Nifty 50 index was up 9.3 points or 0.08% at 12269.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 19.01 points or 0.14% at 13414.44.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.47 points or 0.18% at 4712.08.

On BSE,1220 shares were trading in green, 1102 were trading in red and 153 were unchanged.
