FMCG shares fall

FMCG stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index falling 9.28 points or 0.08% at 11495.29 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, Prabhat Dairy Ltd (down 3.45%), Future Consumer Ltd (down 2.13%),L T Foods Ltd (down 2.1%),Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd (down 2.06%),Parag Milk Foods Ltd (down 1.76%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were G M Breweries Ltd (down 1.63%), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd (down 1.55%), Vadilal Industries Ltd (down 1.5%), Venkys (India) Ltd (down 1.41%), and Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd (down 1.4%).

On the other hand, DFM Foods Ltd (up 12.57%), ADF Foods Ltd (up 3.67%), and Agro Tech Foods Ltd (up 3.01%) moved up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 24.5 or 0.06% at 41698.42.

The Nifty 50 index was up 9.3 points or 0.08% at 12269.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 19.01 points or 0.14% at 13414.44.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.47 points or 0.18% at 4712.08.

On BSE,1220 shares were trading in green, 1102 were trading in red and 153 were unchanged.
