Healthcare stocks ease
Healthcare stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Healthcare index decreasing 135.12 points or 1.01% at 13185.99 at 13:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Healthcare index, Shalby Ltd (down 5.88%), Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd (down 4.13%),Nectar Lifescience Ltd (down 3.52%),Marksans Pharma Ltd (down 3.51%),Hikal Ltd (down 3.43%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Unichem Laboratories Ltd (down 3.35%), Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd (down 3.05%), Opto Circuits (India) Ltd (down 3%), Divis Laboratories Ltd (down 2.96%), and Sequent Scientific Ltd (down 2.86%).
On the other hand, Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd (up 3.42%), Dr Lal Pathlabs Ltd (up 2.43%), and Kilitch Drugs (India) Ltd (up 2.31%) turned up.
At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 127.36 or 0.32% at 40174.6.
The Nifty 50 index was down 45.35 points or 0.38% at 11895.95.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 111.11 points or 0.82% at 13519.55.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 37.18 points or 0.79% at 4653.43.
On BSE,913 shares were trading in green, 1424 were trading in red and 137 were unchanged.
