India Adds 30,093 New Covid Cases

India reported 30,093 new cases in last 24 hours; the lowest in 125 days. Active caseload is currently at 4,06,130; lowest in 117 days. Active cases constitute 1.30% of total cases. Weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.06% and daily positivity rate at 1.68%, less than 3% for 29 consecutive days. Testing capacity was substantially ramped up with 44.73cr tests totally conducted. The recovery rate increased to 97.37% and 45,254 patients recovered during last 24 hours. The country recorded 3,03,53,710 total recoveries so far. A total of 41.18 Cr. vaccine doses were administered so far under nationwide vaccination drive.
