Information Technology stocks edge lower

Information Technology stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index decreasing 160.03 points or 0.55% at 29111.95 at 13:49 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, D-Link India Ltd (down 2.62%), Cyient Ltd (down 2.36%),Quick Heal Technologies Ltd (down 2.22%),Wipro Ltd (down 2.16%),63 Moons Technologies Ltd (down 2.04%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Sonata Software Ltd (down 1.92%), Majesco Ltd (down 1.82%), TVS Electronics Ltd (down 1.61%), Tanla Platforms Ltd (down 1.43%), and Tata Elxsi Ltd (down 1.34%).

On the other hand, Ramco Systems Ltd (up 11.94%), Infibeam Avenues Ltd (up 9.8%), and Brightcom Group Ltd (up 4.94%) turned up.

 

At 13:49 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 45.86 or 0.09% at 52542.85.

The Nifty 50 index was down 13.8 points or 0.09% at 15758.95.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 24.48 points or 0.1% at 25084.79.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 30.06 points or 0.39% at 7765.97.

On BSE,1733 shares were trading in green, 1409 were trading in red and 137 were unchanged.
