Nifty Auto index ended down 1.82% at 11282.15 today. The index is up 6.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Bharat Forge Ltd shed 3.77%, Hero MotoCorp Ltd slipped 2.98% and Bosch Ltd fell 2.83%. The Nifty Auto index is up 6.00% over last one year compared to the 5.70% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Commodities index is down 1.79% and Nifty Media index is down 1.52% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.26% to close at 16584.3 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.09% to close at 55769.23 today.
