Real Estate shares ease
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index falling 22.94 points or 1.03% at 2212.65 at 13:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, DLF Ltd (down 1.78%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 1.74%),Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 1.62%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 1.46%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 1.05%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 0.3%), Sobha Ltd (down 0.15%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.13%).
On the other hand, Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.78%), and Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 0.42%) moved up.
At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 105.24 or 0.25% at 41576.3.
The Nifty 50 index was down 28.95 points or 0.24% at 12242.85.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 7.24 points or 0.05% at 13383.79.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 1.44 points or 0.03% at 4703.26.
On BSE,999 shares were trading in green, 1312 were trading in red and 197 were unchanged.
